The Omnibus Classroom

Omnibus classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays for two hours and fifty minutes, and two class times are offered: Session A starts at 9:00 and Session B starts at 12:30. Most of the students from both sessions come together from 11:50 to 12:30 for lunch. Classes are held in the log cabin owned by the Woman's Club of Cayce at 701 Oakland Avenue, Cayce, SC 29033. Literature is taught during the first part of class on both Tuesday and Thursday. History is taught during the second part of class on Tuesday and Doctrine & Theology during the second part of class on Thursday. Class size is twelve to eighteen students.

Each class day begins with copy work and recitation which consists of the students' weekly Bible verse, question and answer from the Westminster Shorter Catechism, hymn verses, and vocabulary words. Class time consists of instruction on writing and the students assigned reading, analysis and discussion of the content and themes from the students assigned reading, supplemental instructional videos, and periodic in-class debates and student presentations.

Tuition is $1,440 total per year for all three courses: Literature, History, and Doctrine & Theology. Parents have the option of paying in full at the beginning of the school year or with nine monthly payments of $140 (September - May). A $360 discount is given to families with more than one student enrolled.
